MITEC, Inc.  is the exclusive North American distributor of the Sturdy Step platform safety ladder line and the VersaTable bedside table line.  These high quality product lines were designed and manufactured exclusively for us in the Netherlands and are now manufactured in the Peoples Republic of China.  the SturdyStep is ideal for either home or light duty office use. 

MITEC, Inc. is a small, family-owned business.  (That's Grandpa on the 2-step ladder below!)  We have been in business since 1984, first operating in Michigan, then Wisconsin and our current headquarters is now in McDonough, Georgia.  We pride ourselves on our personalized customer service and rapid processing and shipment of customer orders.  Your business with MITEC will be handled with real, live people;  with us, you will never experience anonymous or automated correspondence.  MITEC is currently in its 2nd generation as a family business;  the current generation has "grown up with" the business, and has had over 20 years worth of practical experience working for the company.  We have dedicated ourselves to the company in memory of our late father and former President, who recently passed away.  We feel that the best way we can honor his memory is to continue to operate the business he worked so hard to promote, and to keep the fine product line of Sturdy Step ladders that he was so proud of available to the U.S. market.

You cannot buy the Sturdy Step ladder in stores;  it is available exclusively from us via phone, mail order, or internet.  We sell to all 50 U.S. states and Canada.

This website now offers an additional forum in which our customers can view, learn about, contact us with questions about, and purchase these fine products in a safe and secure environment.
